Driving rain could not stop families and fans from participating in the Ram Gridiron Challenge Fundraiser back on November 1st for the school’s football program. Ram Truck brand contributed $20 for each test drive in the Ram 1500, Motor Trend’s 2014 Truck of the Year. Chris Leith Dodge Ram provided the trucks, Ram truck brand provided the support, and Wakefield provided the fans. Together we were able to raise $1680 for the Wakefield football program.
“Ram Trucks and high school football make a perfect partnership,” said Reid Bigland, CEO of the Ram Truck brand. “The players on these teams face new challenges week after week, knowing that with hard work comes reward. This commitment to hard work and excellence is what we strive for at the Ram Truck brand, and we’re proud to support these kids and their efforts on the field, in the classroom, and their community.”
“We always enjoy the opportunity to get out into the community and give something back,” said Johnny Dudley, Operations Manager at Chris Leith Dodge/Ram Truck. “Even in this crazy weather we had a great turnout for the Ram Gridiron Challenge Fundraiser – It was a pleasure to work with the parents, students, and fans of Wakefield High School. On behalf of Chris Leith and the rest of our team at Chris Leith Dodge/Ram Truck I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to test drive and for supporting Wakefield Wolverines Football.”
