By now you’ve probably seen our blog post last month that featured a picture of a sleek-looking, chrometastic black truck. You’ve also probably said to yourself: “What truck is that? Where can I get one? Give it to me now.”
Easy there, Veruca, settle down.
That truck is the Ram Laramie Limited, a special trim level that will be available later this spring. There’s an official rundown of what makes it so special on the Ram Zone blog. Let’s have a butcher’s.
The Ram Laramie Limited, or RLL as we will never call it again, debuted at last month’s Chicago Auto Show and is what Ram describes as a “black-tie” alternative to the Laramie Longhorn. As CEO Bob Hegbloom has noted, a certain subset of owners are beginning to spend more and more time in their trucks, and they’re even beginning to take their trucks out to dinner, leaving their other cars at home. Heck, some of these families are dropping the other car altogether.
As a result, the Ram Laramie Limited is all about elevating the standards for luxury trucks. It does this with generous applications of chrome trim as we mentioned before, including the billeted grille with the RAM letters displayed front and center. The LED headlamps are also given special bezels to bestow a “jewel-like” quality on this truck’s illuminators.
Around back, you’ll find an echo of the front with RAM writ large in chrome once again, framed between limited-edition LED tail lamps. The interior is bedecked with such plush amenities as custom stitching and rear seat pockets that have these ornate-looking clasps on them.
Perhaps the best part is that the Laramie Limited trim is available on multiple trucks, those being the 1500, 2500, and 3500, so the big boys can get gussied up to if they so choose. Again, this trim level will be available later in the spring. If you would like to be informed when a Ram Laramie Limited will be available at our dealership, just call or visit us and we’ll let you know. Remember that Chris Leith Dodge is a great place to shop for a new Ram truck if you’re near Raleigh.
